Equine-Assisted Therapy

"I've often said, there's nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse."
(Ronald Reagan)

Our Mission is to provide all disabled persons, young and old, the opportunity to experience the healing power of the human/horse bond. Our program combines instruction in traditional horsemanship skills with concepts of physical, occupational, speech, and behavior therapies in a controlled setting.
Our riders develop increased social interaction, abstract learning, better self-awareness, and improved functional mobility, posture and balance.

Riding has been proven effective as a recreational therapy in the treatment of:
Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Spina Bifida, Deafness, Blindness, Multiple Sclerosis, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Emotional Disturbance, Paraplegics, Amputees, and so much more!
